Assemblage includes found objects, beads, charms, religious baubles, Czech glass, ancient Roman glass, small toys, tribal jewelry bits, Zuni animal fetishes, ancient Viking findings, Talavera tiles, Mexican Milagros, and more.
"The little boxes are full of secrets: I collect trinkets, amulets, beads, charms, and all manner of ephemera. There are Milagros from Mexico, Czech glass beads, ancient Viking metal scraps, and Temu plastic gewgaws. I love to combine the ancient and the sacred with tawdry mass manufactured trinkets that we consume to fill our insatiable hunger for excess, and for novelty and magic. Bringing them all together is the whole story of us, and how and what we worship."
